"Middle School Dances" by Miss Frazier

Middle school dances are so much fun
I get sad when they are almost done

The kids are very enthusiatic
Boys try hard to be romantic

Girls running all over giggling
Everyone's little tushie is wiggling

Sweet odors of fresh baked cookies fill the room
Music begins to blare with a loud boom

As the night goes on the humidity rises
Students line up for games to win prizes

Chaperones' heads begin to throb
Students surround the DJ like a crazy mob

Cute little couples secretly hold hands
Dancing all over jamming to the bands

Fruity punch is super refreshing
Keep a close eye out for unwanted caressing

"I Sing When No One is Looking" by Miss Frazier

In my room with the music blaring
In my car I'm always jamming

Some times when I'm sad
Other times when I'm glad

In my kitchen when I am cooking
In my bathroom when I am showering

Some times when I'm depressed
Other times when I'm blessed

In my gym when I am exercising
In my yard when I am playing

Some times when I'm slighted
Other times when I'm excited

In my room when I am writing
In my basement when I am cleaning

Some times when I'm lazy
Other times when I'm crazy

In my classroom when I am working
I sing when no one is looking

"If I Was Hit By A Car..." by Miss Frazier

If I was hit by a car on my way home from school
I would skid on the pavement
like a rock across water.

If the person who hit me did not care to stop
I would chase after them
Like the Road Runner on Looney Tunes (Meep, Meep).

If I was hit by a car on my way home from school
I would call my Mom and ask her for help
Like a good child would do.
If no one saw the accident
I would have to explain to the police what happened
Like a victim of crime.

If I was hit by a car on my way home from school
I would get to ride in a fast ambulance
Like the ones you see on TV.

If I was hurt really bad from the collison
I would have to stay in the hospital
Like a patient recovering from surgery.

If I was hit by a car on my way home from school
I would try to be strong
Like a rope bridge across a ravine.

"Ms. Frazier's Furry Friends" by Ms. Frazier

My little friend's name is Izzy
Her hair usually becomes frizzy
The other little one is Scamperz
She is outo f her pampers

They like to talk and squeak
I give them a bath every week
Apples and carrots are their favorite treats
When they hear the fridge open their hearts rapidly beats

During the summer they like to play in the sun
They rest a lot and sleep when they are done
Another thing they likes it to be pet
Their food is expensive so I go into debt

I enjoy being with them
Not when they chew on a stem
They usually don't like to dig
After all they are only guinea pigs

"Una Amistad de Amor" by Miss Frazier

Mi amiga es muy simpática
La conocí en África
Hoy su pelo esta muy suave
Desde su casa vuelve

A veces estoy un poco celosa
Lleva ropa lujosa
Yo no tengo mucho
Mi novio siempre es insatisfecho

Tengo que trabajar muy duro
Nuestra amistad es un milagro
Para ella cada cosa es tan fácil
Y mi Corazón es muy débil

La necesito
Con todo su cuentito
Nuestra historia es muy larga
De mi alma ella encarga

"My School" by Miss Frazier

The food in this school really stinks
It makes my face turn pink
Sometimes the food looks kinda hairy
It makes him sick, my poor friend Larry

Need I mention the three minute passing time
That's hardly enough time to start a rhyme
And if I am late the teacher gets mad
This makes me feel very sad

My friends and I talk a lot
We are good kids and don't smoke pot
My best friend and I share a locker
The school had put up an internet blocker

In the end school is pretty cool
I like to go home and play in my pool
Ms. Cragun is my favorite teacher
She let us write a science fiction story about a creature

"HS ELL" by Miss Frazier

We have so much fun
We are six plus one
We seem to all work good together
Sometimes we talk about the weather

First let me tell you about Thai
In class he is the oldest guy
He likes to play a game
Sometimes to him class is lame
He tells Ms. Frazier every day when he watches a movie
I think Thai is really groovy

Then there is Ana
She lingers in class after the sound of the campana
She works very hard
And likes to play in the yard
She and Ms. Frazier talk mucho en espanol
She is a good person and has a good soul

Another sneaky student is good old Ari
His head is shaved so he is not hairy
He likes to wear his pants low
He doesn’t always go with the flow
Boring is how he would describe school
However Ari is super cool

The last of the chavos we have in class is Noel
In biology class he learned about the cell
He likes to play cards
And stay out of trouble from the guards
He likes to go outside when it is sunny
Noel can be very funny

The lucky other girl is PaKou
To her studies she is always true
She always has a smile on her face
And writes at a very quick pace
To her parents she is a very fine treasure
Having her in class is always such a pleasure

I need to go on to mention Ms. Cragun
When students are difficult she turns into a dragon
Her classroom is very relaxing
Her job can be very taxing
She is an awesome teacher
Her eyes are her best feature

I really enjoy our high school class
Every class I wish the students to pass
To all the teachers I hope you have students as good as these
This year has flown by just like the breeze

"Sixth Period Madness" by Miss Frazier

I am sick and tired of all this noise
It usually comes from all the boys
However, today it comes from a girl
To her parents she is a little pearl

The girl is mostly quiet and nice
She usually goes around as quiet as mice
But today is different and she is being sassy
She is not being a very good lassie

And need I forget the guy in the reading room
He too is unruly and shows his gloom,
"I hate writing poems for Ms. Cragun,
Maybe she will pass away like Reagan!"

"Ari and Jenkins" by Miss Frazier

There was a guy named Ari
He was very clever and crazy
He thinks Ms. Cragun and Ms. Frazier are a bit scary
But sometimes he is a bit lazy

Ari became a dad the other day
Being a dad is too hard because Ari is so young
He doesn't even know how to play
All Jenkins does is produce tons of dung

Ari wanted to sell Jenkins or give him away
He even thought to bring him to school as a pet
In his little box he will not stay
Poor Ari was filled with a bunch of regret

Ari's little Jenkins was as cute as a muffin
He liked to play fetch with a puck
Don't be fooled, he is not a puffin
Ari's new baby is a duck

"School Days" by Miss Frazier

Today I did not want to get out of bed
My hair was all messed up on my head
I hurried down stairs to make my lunch
I hope Mom made me some punch

Now that I'm ready it's off to school
I hope we get to do something cool
My friends and I were a'talking
At us our teacher was a'gawking

She said that we were being very bad
Getting yelled at made my mood very sad
For recess we got to go outside and play
That made up for the rest of my bad day

So now the days over and back home I go
I want to ride my bike so I don't want it to snow
I got to play with Sammi, my friendly little dog
I want my poem to forever be on Ms. Cragun's blog

"Echoing Silence" by Miss Frazier

The lonely man sat pondering as he ate his stew
"Why do I always feel so blue?"

It seems as if I am constantly sick with the flu
Silence filled the room except for an echoing coo.

The man jumped up startled from the clue
I may not be alone after all, "who are you?"

Are you close by? What is your hue?
He bent down to look by his shoe.

Please tell me your name, I'll tell you mine it's Nephou.
I once was a hunter of the lovely caribou,

But they are all gone now stuck in some zoo,
I spend my days sitting on the porch of my house in Peru.

There was no response; nothing came into view.
The man knew he was alone again, after all there only remained but a few.

All his friends were killed for being a Jew.
Silence filled the room except for the coo.

There must be someone here or something new
And the owl flew over on that cue.

Oh how happy the man was, "Now it's me and you."
The man spent the rest of his days listening to the owl whoo.
