"Write" by Miss Cragun

Sketching out a picture
Snapping a photograph
Oil on a canvas
Clay in a sculptor's hands

Words paint your image
So mix shades of color
And mold scenes with craft
Give your breath of life creation

"Sixth Period Madness" by Miss Frazier

I am sick and tired of all this noise
It usually comes from all the boys
However, today it comes from a girl
To her parents she is a little pearl

The girl is mostly quiet and nice
She usually goes around as quiet as mice
But today is different and she is being sassy
She is not being a very good lassie

And need I forget the guy in the reading room
He too is unruly and shows his gloom,
"I hate writing poems for Ms. Cragun,
Maybe she will pass away like Reagan!"

"Ari and Jenkins" by Miss Frazier

There was a guy named Ari
He was very clever and crazy
He thinks Ms. Cragun and Ms. Frazier are a bit scary
But sometimes he is a bit lazy

Ari became a dad the other day
Being a dad is too hard because Ari is so young
He doesn't even know how to play
All Jenkins does is produce tons of dung

Ari wanted to sell Jenkins or give him away
He even thought to bring him to school as a pet
In his little box he will not stay
Poor Ari was filled with a bunch of regret

Ari's little Jenkins was as cute as a muffin
He liked to play fetch with a puck
Don't be fooled, he is not a puffin
Ari's new baby is a duck

"The Mean Miss Cragun" by Marco

Every morning I don't want to wake up
Ms. Cragun makes us write poems
And I hate writing them
When she comes into class she brings a gnome

When she tells us to start writing a poem
I feel like running home
She stops me and then she tells me to go sit
Ms. Cragun always tells us that her house is a dome

I just want my clock to break
So I don't have to go to school
It will be another boring day
I will bring a mule

"Behavior Moods" by Tony

When everyone is in a good mood
Everyone will call each other dude
But when they're in a bad mood
They say you are so rude

When someone is mean
Everyones head pops like a bean
What have you seen?
Well everyones just got to lean

"People Who Don't Believe in Ghosts" by Tony

Ghosts will haunt you down one day
They will scare you until you turn grey
Don't say anything bad or you'll soon regret
Anyone can give the biggest threat
Human and ghost don't belong
If you are scared go to Hong Kong
But if you're not you should stay
Until the end of your day
Ghosts will drag you away
Your family will only see you when they say, "hey"
When you go to a place to play
A ghost will sign a contract with you and if you breach
You will hear something screech

"Amazing Blue" by Tony

Out in the blue I hear dolphins cry
Out in the city I hear people say bye
When I am inside a building I am full of pride
When I go in the blue I have to get back dry

I like it when I am at the beach because others say, "hi"
When I dream I think of fish fry
When time flies by I like the ride
When I'm in water I look good, especially with a tie

"The Clock" by Anabel

You always wake me up
In the morning with your alarm
I'm really so tired
That I can't even move my arm.

Every day you wake me up to go
To school every morning
I always have to
Go to school running

I wish there was no school
Because I hate school
On every morning
The teachers are so cruel

In school there's
Always a bell
A bell that drives me crazy
Every time the bell yells

The clock is my enemy
Every time the clock
Marks the hours I always
Want someone to get me a shock

"Soccer Star" by Marco

If I was a soccer star
The goal seems really far
I kick the ball as hard as I can
If I was a soccer star

If I was a soccer star
I can see my red car
People will cheer when I made a goal
If I was a soccer star

If I was a soccer star
I will raise the bar
People will yell at me
If I was a soccer star

"School Days" by Miss Frazier

Today I did not want to get out of bed
My hair was all messed up on my head
I hurried down stairs to make my lunch
I hope Mom made me some punch

Now that I'm ready it's off to school
I hope we get to do something cool
My friends and I were a'talking
At us our teacher was a'gawking

She said that we were being very bad
Getting yelled at made my mood very sad
For recess we got to go outside and play
That made up for the rest of my bad day

So now the days over and back home I go
I want to ride my bike so I don't want it to snow
I got to play with Sammi, my friendly little dog
I want my poem to forever be on Ms. Cragun's blog
