Homework is not fun
We have to take it home
I like it at school
Homework is not fun
Homework is not fun
I feel like I want to die
When my backpack is full of book I cry
Homework is not fun
Homework is not fun
If I don't do it the next day
I get in trouble until May
Homework is not fun

Marco,
I don't like HW either... that's why I never give it to you! You're so lucky...
:)

Marco you are really good at poems. Don't ever say you don't like them, because you are so good. Hope you make more poems. Anabel
THIS is a poem I can relate to... When I was in school, I was tell every teacher I had that school was was for school only and shouldn't follow you home... but then I learned how much homework helped me understand things better and improve myself. But I still didn't like it, though! But I think this poem has a really catchy scheme to it, and a very nice use of repetition!
I'm not always a big fan of homework either...I would much rather be doing something else! Like watching a movie...
Although, truth be told Macro, when I sit down and spend a while doing my homework, I really start to understand it and when I understand I don't really care that I'm doing my homework because it feels so good to actually understand something, even if my teacher is "forcing" me to do it...:).
I don't like homework either, but I understand the importance of it and I do find joy in constantly learning. Nice job on your poem.
I my classes, I don't give "homework" ever!! I bet you'd like my class...I only give "homefun" (I teach..well, actually I taught math) Nice job on the poem, Maggie
